HI,

How can i display the data in Time line in day view by default.
The problem is when the time line is displayed in month view by default the Duration template is getting cut so if i display the timeline data in day view the duration template will come in an expanded manner.

Please help.
Thanks in advance.

Hi Nikhil,

There are two factors that affect the choice of RadTimeline.CurrentItemInterval:
  • The current values of RadTimeline.VisiblePeriodStart and .VisiblePeriodEnd and
  • The available horizontal space for the intervals.
This means that in order to make initial ItemInterval Day, you need adjust VisiblePeriod Start/End so that for the current width of the control, day interval is the current one (you need to make the visible range smaller). I am afraid that currently there's no easy way to determine the optimal visible range, so you will need to do this manually.

I hope this helps.
