I have recently been  experimenting with converting from WEINRE to the Debug on Device feature, and it seems to work fairly well with one major exception.  I am unable to paste content from the clipboard into the Console command line.  This is a real show-stopper for me.

Is this feature really missing, or is there some trick that I am missing here?

Hello Gregory,

The copy/paste operations when debugging an iOS application in the console are currently unavailable. This is a bug in the DevTools implementation which is logged in our internal issue tracking system. I will raise its priority and we will do our best to address the issue with the next release.

In the meantime, I'm afraid I can't suggest a workaround and I therefore want to apologize for the inconvenience this is causing in your development process.
