There are no items in the Network Requests timeline. Same goes for the Layout & Rending and JavaScript & Events timelines. I notice that there is a record button to the left, but clicking it doesn't seem to do anything.

Hello Rick,
I could not reproduce this problem on my side when I tried debugging on a device. Can you specify what device were you trying to debug on, its OS version and if it is an iOS device, did you use development certificate and provisioning profile for signing the app before debugging?
I am using an iPhone 4 with iOS 7.
I used development certificate and provisioning profile for signing the app before debugging.
I am able to execute alert(123); in the console and it shows on the phone, so at least that is working.

Hello Rick,
We investigated the problem and it turns out that it is related to different protocols used by iOS 7 and 8 for debugging on device. Currently, requests tracking works only under iOS 8. We logged the problem but as it is related to an older version of iOS, its priority is currently low. If there is higher user demand for it to be fixed, the issue's priority will be raised.
