Hi Telerik Team,

I'm starting a new WP 8.1 Silverlight app and I want to use the DatePicker in there. When I added it in xaml it showed up in the UI designer. After some time and adding attributes it now just shows "TargetType Mismatch".

InvalidOperationException: TargetType mismatch.
at System.Windows.Controls.Control.ApplyTemplate()
(no inner exception)

Then I removed all the attributes, deleted and readded the DatePicker but still the same. Only after closing VS2013 and reopening it I was able to add the DatePicker again without any error. After some time though the same issue occurred again.

I have VS 2013 Ultimate Update 2 installed. Telerik UI  for WP version is 2014.1 0226.

Regards,
Stephan

Hi Stephan,

Thanks for writing.

While we are not able to reproduce such errors, we think that they are frequently caused by problems within the VS designer alone. We will make sure to test for similar issues with our upcoming Windows/WindowsPhone 8.1 version of the suite.
