Is there any way for selecting previous years easily? (maybe asp .net ajax callendar like?)

Hi P,

One way to do this is to press and hold one of the navigation buttons (not the fast navigation buttons). This way the calendar will go really quickly through the months. The fastest way, however, is to type in the year or month or day that you want directly in the text box of the RadDateTimePicker.

Hello,

I would like to know if things have evolved since then.

The default raddatetimepicker isn't so appealing.

In my project, the user may enter a date of birth (the date is not mandatory so nullvalue is a good thing). I tried to replace microsoft's datetimepicker by a raddatetimepicker but i couldn't display the todaybutton, nor the clearbutton nor the ability to navigate the years (as you would normally do when entering a birth date).

I haven't tried by code, I used some of the properties accessed via the smarttag

raddatetimepickerelement/calendar/showfooter set to true, headernavigationmode set to zoom

but whatever I do nothing changes. The control stays exactly the same.

What I am doing wrong?

By default, this control should have at least the same amount of functionalities DateTimePicker has. I believe, this would improve the learning curve.

Thank you

Hi,

I was not able to reproduce this locally and the zoom is working fine on my side (see attached video). Perhaps this is version related, which version are you using?

Could you please try to set the properties in code as well?

I am looking forward to your reply.

Hi Dimitar,

Thank you for your answer. I did copy your code in a new project and it still doesn't work. May be there is a problem with my install

It's version 2016.1.216. I'm going to dl the new version and reinstall

Hello,

I have checked this with 2016.1.216 and it is working with this version as well. This is why I would suggest you open a support thread for this and attach the project where this is not working to it. This way we will be able to properly investigate this and provide you with a solution.

Please do not hesitate to contact us with any additional questions or concerns.
