Is there any way to load items on demand in the WrapPanel control? I'm currently loading 200 images from Isolated Storage into a Wrap Panel and as we would expect, I'm having some performance problems.

It would be nice if the control had some sort of Virtualization, if not... are there any work arounds to achieve the same result using DataBoundListBox for example.

Thanks a lot guys!

Hello Matheus,

Thanks for writing and for your question.

We do already support virtualized Wrap Layout in RadDataBoundListBox. It can be used combined with the DataVirtualization features exposed by RadDataBoundListBox to load items on demand. You can read more about the Wrap Mode here:

http://blogs.telerik.com/deyanginev/posts/12-02-20/wrap-layout-ui-virtualization-raddataboundlistbox-for-wp.aspx

and here:

You can find useful inromation on Data Virtualization here:

I hope this information is useful.
