Customize the TimeLine Series Bar

I am evaluating the Scheduler Components, specifically the TimeLine mode.

Does this component allow me to create an event that is comprised of smaller events? For example, I have a Process comprised of Steps. The Steps also have a Start/Stop Time. 

I was wondering if TimeLine would allow me to customize the Series Bar so that I could display the Steps Inside of the Process?

Does that make sense?

Hello Chuck,

THe desired behavior of creating single event and split it automatically into several events as well as adjusting these events start/end times in order to always match is not supported out of the box and it would require custom solution. As starting point I would suggest to inspected the Scheduler and it's DataSource client side API methods and events:

• Scheduler client-side: methods
• Scheduler client-side: events
• DataSource client-side: events
• DataSource client-side: methods

Also you might find helpful the examples that are available for both for Kendo UI Scheduler and Scheduler for ASP.NET MVC in their "How To" sections (folders on the level of the linked help articles):

• Scheduler for Web
