In a future release could you make this control customizable in how it chooses a date year when a user enters a date with out a year in the textbox.
It is fine most of the year but usually in January & December and the surrounding months you want the year not to be the current
like on December 27th 2010 you enter 2/8 you probably mean 2/8/2011
anyway that would be great to let us customize it. One way would be to provide a hook into the parsing of the Text in the textbox. Then we could do what ever we wanted. Anyway just an idea

Hi TWT,
We have added a ParseDateTimeValue event that can be use by the user to put its own parsing logic. There you have an access to the current input and the value that will be parsed as a result. You can modify it as you desire. Let us know if you are facing some problems in the implementation.
