I have a custom view to show all my outstanding work items...but it'd be nice if I could sort by like Parent item name, then type, then name...or something
Do you know what I mean?...so in the list I can see the tasks associated with an item in the list nested below the item itself

Hi Steve,
I agree with you that this would be a nice to have functionality, but currently we do not support multiple item sort.
However we have a similar request in our Feedback Portal - here. You can go and vote for the item in order to increase its priority.
