Hello,
I am trying to customize mouse hover effects, background, foreground etc for a Windows8 themed button. I set the theme to Windows8 and when I try to create a copy of the style in VS 2012, it creates Office 2007 style but not Windows8. Could you please guide me on this? Thank you.

Harsha

Hello,

Extracting default style of a control via Blend or Visual Studio Designer will always give you the default styles of the control (thos made under OfficeBlack theme). Since you wish to do several major changes on the control's visual appearance I highly reccomend that you use our implicit styles mechanism for the purpose. The implicit styles mechanism has several advantages as described in further details here together with code samples.
