Here's my issue:
Whenever I create a new skin, even when based off a default one like Telerik, each menu item in my start menu has 1px dark grey border around it. So my save item will have a border, my open item will have a border and so on. I cannot find where to disable this border in the visual styler. All other styles and effects stay the same as the default skin I based mine off of with the exception of this new border. Please help.

Hi Andrew,
We are sorry for the inconvenience. It looks like there's a bug in Visual Style Builder. You can use the following workaround:
1) Open the Visual Style Builder and load the RadRibbonBar control. Create a new or modify the existing theme. Give the theme a name and save to a file.
2) Load RadMenu control in Visual Style Builder. Edit menu theme. Choose the Save As option form File menu and save the theme in the same file as in previous step.
3) Open the saved XML file and search for the string "Telerik.WinControls.UI.RadDropDownMenu". Replace it with "Telerik.WinControls.UI.RadRibbonBarMenu"
