With the source code edition, is it possible to build support to my own database that is not supported out of the box by Telerik? Otherwords the database is ADO.NET compliant and has a provider. Can I add this database to the Telerik OpenAccess ORM by editing the source?

Hello Eddie Conner,
I think  that this is not so simple to do because of various reasons:

1. The database driver wrapper creation requires a lot of know-how of the OpenAccess internals. You have to understand what OpenAccess expects.

2. We don't support third party wrapper creations at the moment, neither we have guide for third parties how to do it.

Can you share more on which backend do you want to support?

Best wishes,

Hi Eddie Conner,
We don't have this database in our plans and road-map so far. If we see strong demand for that in our community we will address this development right away.
