Custom Chart Markers

Is it possible to create custom marker types or use images as markers on a chart?  Is there a plan to support additional marker types (e.g. Cross, Star)?  If not, I would like to request that feature.

At present this is not possible, however the feature sounds good and it will be revised by our Dev team. We will appreciate if you also submit your idea at our UserVoice page - thus way the community would be able to vote and comment it.

This scenario can be implemented by using the markers.visual function:
