CreateUpdateDDLScript Only Returns CREATE Table

I am calling the CreateUpdateDDLScript method but EVERY time it returns CREATE TABLE instead of Update Table.  My model works, my data tables all have data. I made a change in the mapping for a table to add a column, change a column size, etc but it only gives me CREATE scripts. I end up having to make the DB changes by hand.  What am I missing?

CAN ANYONE HELP WITH THIS?????   Not much of a community when I have waited almost a month and no one has replied including Telerik.
