I've just downloaded JustDecompile and I'm trying to generate a project from an .EXE file. (The developer who coded this particular app is no longer with the company, and we haven't been able to find the source code for this app)

I can see the Generate Project option under the TOOLS menu, but at every level it stays disabled. What do I need to do to turn this feature on? (It's the whole reason I've downloaded the software)

EDIT

I figured out it was because creating a project in VB.NET is not supported. For those times when we're dealing with a VB.NET app, it would be nice to be able to decompile to a project. (I will admit JustDecompile got me within 90% of where I needed to be)

Hello,

JD supports only C# project exporting. You should select c# as the current language in order to get button enabled.

Hello,

Creating a VB visual studio project is much more work than simply extracting the source code from the dll. It is definitely a feature that will be implemented sooner or later. Make sure you put your vote for this feature in the in our user voice site.
