Sorry... Only now I saw that other users already reported the same error previously.
    Please, desconsider this thread.

    Thank you

    Christiano-

Thanks for participating in the beta and for sharing your feedback. I think we may need to do more testing to ensure JustDecompile can run consistently on Windows XP. Please make sure you .NET 4 installed on your system for starters. We'll do more broad testing with the post-Beta builds and try to fix-up in XP issues soon.

As a matter of fact, everything is fine on this computer. I have Visual Studio 2010 and many other telerik products installed here. Framework 4 have been installed a week ago, and also was JustCode and some Telerik components.
As you can notice, many other users have noticed the same crash.

Please, let me know if there is any procedure I can perform in order to help the support team.

    Kind Regards

    Thanks, Christiano.

We've actually already managed to reproduce the error in Windows XP, so we think this is something specific that operating environment. This error does not seem to appear for users running JustDecompile on Windows Vista or 7. We'll research thoroughly and make sure a fix is available in an upcoming build.

Sorry for the inconvenience. Thanks for being an active user of Telerik tools!

    Hi again Christiano,

There is a new JustDecompile Beta version which we have published. Besides the new features and many enhancements there are improvements in the installation process for Windows XP. Please give it a try and let us know if you still have issues: http://www.telerik.com/community/license-agreement.aspx?pId=845

    Thank you for the involvement.

    Kind regards,

    Vladi

Hey, I just downloaded 'Just Decompile' today and am getting this error as well on Win XP. It looks to be the same error message that Christiano reported in April.  Thanks!

    Sorry for this late answer.

In fact, the problem still exists here, even after the installation of the last build.

As you can see, other active users also noticed the same problem.

Please, let me know if is there any procedure I can execute in order to help to fix it.

    Thank you.

    Hi all,
I'm sorry to hear the issue is still reproducible in the latest build. Unfortunately we can't reproduce it on none of our virtual machines (Windows XP SP2, Windows XP SP3 and Windows Server 2003 SP2).
The exception you're getting however leads us to several potential things which may cause this problem.
    e.g.
    http://connect.microsoft.com/VisualStudio/feedback/details/321285/wpf-application-fails-if-window-icon-is-a-vista-ico-file

We've already made some precautions so this issue doesn't reappear in the next internal build but still we can't be sure unless it's tested on the right environment.

If any of you, guys would like to get a new (and hopefully) fixed build earlier, please just open a new support ticket or submit general feedback and we'll send you the latest bits.

    Sorry for the inconvenience.

    Regards,
    Chris
