Got RadAjax loaded and the above error is occuring.

Can you please verify that the Telerik.Web.UI assembly is placed in the /bin folder of your web site and a reference to it is set as expected? This should ensure that the dll holding the RadAjax "Prometheus" source code will be loaded when you compile/run the sample project.

This is an important note!

Unfortunately RadAjax support of VS2008 has not been added in Prometheus Futures release, but we have already provided that. Please, find the latest hotfix attached to my response and give it a go.

Hello hkdave95,

Please make sure the assembly reference is properly updated. You may also need to to restart the studio on applying the hotfix.

By the way, the next Prometheus "Futures" build is scheduled for Tuesday, August 28. Then you will be able to reinstall the Prometheus RadControls and the issue should be resolved for sure.
