Hi all,

I have been trying to install cordova on Mac (newbie) using node.js for last couple of days, did the same on windows and had no issues.
  1. Installed node.js without problem
  2. Whenever I try doing sudo npm install -g cordova, spinning icon just spins for hours without processing anything

I am behind proxy and so I configured proxy for npm which shouldn't be a problem, what is going wrong?

Please advice!!

Hi,

The most probable cause of the problem is the proxy that you are behind. Can you confirm that you are able to install other packages using node.js on this machine?
