Hi

I'm using two dock zones in a page and I have some controls in one of them, I'm trying to drag these controls into the other dock zone and have it in both zones, In common words I need to copy (or something like that) the control by dragging it on the other zone,

Any ideas how to do that?

Thanks

Hi Tyrone,

Below you can find the two examples that I suggested as a reference for implementing the requested feature. I hope that they will be of good use to you.

The first one shows how to create a RadDock object on the client by initially dragging a fixed dock inside a zone that acts as a toolbox. Please note that there is no server side interaction - the docks are created on the client only. You can modify it further to suit your specific scenario.

The second example shows how to create RadDock objects by having the initial drag come from a RadTreeView control. This example creates the dock controls on the server-side and adds them to the specific zone.

Best wishes,

Hi,

is there solution for DockToolBoxDemo with latest version of Telerik? We used this code in older version of Telerik, where it is working but when we upgraded to latest version it is not working for us. It creates clone of dragging dock but it does not startdragging. Just creates clone next to original dock.Cloned dock start working whenI start drag with cloned dock.

Thanks
Vlad
