...but, does anyone know of other converters not based on NRefactory, free or not free?

Hello Michael-
I'm not aware of many based on NRefactory (surprisingly). There is at least one, though. The one that I always reference for comparion conversions is actually hosted by the SharpDevelop project directly (the "makers" of NRefactory):
