Hey Guys, thanks for this update :)

I haven't had a change to finish the install, but the release notes seem nice...thank you for the improved licensing dialog!

So what's the deal here now with Test Studio vs Test Studio "Express"?

Hello Steve,

First I really hope you will like the improvements in Test Studio 2011 R1, especially with the licensing model much improved for customers like in your case. I remember your troubles activating the product so the activation should be much easier for you now.

The "Express" simply replaces the previously known Dev Edition. The difference is in general we don't expose it as a separate product for download but we needed to keep it in the Telerik Ultimate Collection. It's more of a branding change and we hope we won't confuse new clients wondering what to evaluate anymore - QA or Dev.

Please let us know if you have any other questions or feedback. Thank you!

Kind regards,

Hey Konstantin,
I'm having some deal breaking bugs right now with it, but am unable to file a support ticket...

There's nothing in any of the "Issue Areas" so Support, Bug, or Feature request comboboxes are all blank and it wont let me file the ticket

So here's the detail:
1) Ok, so activating manually didn't work...so I tried automatic, and it worked, but I think my account keys are borked a bit?  So once that went through opening the Demo Project .aii files crashed when I tried to open each one...rebooted VS2010, and it appeared to be okay. (.tstest files now?)

2) Deleted the old WebAii references, added a new test (which should add in the required refs right?)...still doesnt add in the Translator references.  Also adding in a new test and making a coded step "Pages" is undefined...

Here's a video: http://www.screencast.com/t/RW4iSx5l

Tried to use JustDecompile to find the ref, but I guess that failed too

Hi Steve,

I'm sorry for the late response. We are quite busy this week to address some post-release issues and couldn't catch up with support incidents yet.

Do you have any update on that problem? I'm thinking there are missing or incorrect assembly references but since you've added them manually this should be a problem in VS. I wonder if there are compilation errors breaking the Pages to get generated. Have you found something in this regard?

I think the fastest way to resolve that trouble is to send us a stripped down project replicating the issue. I'll make sure we investigate that and get back to you without any more delay.

Kind regards,
