    Hello everyone
Excuse me for my bad English

I created a small program in vb net to make my SQL backups there is already some time. I want to improve it a bit.
My app uses textbox to use the connection string sql concatenation, it works perfectly if my session is open but I also like that it can operate closed sessions not possible in the state neither planned task because the functions interact with office works very well with the new Windows server OS, I have to make a Windows service and change my code.

From what I have seen I have to use a class to get my connection string and xml would not hurt.

Unfortunately I know not well this possibility and I also saw with singleton.

My question is, how this connection string in a xml file and play the file in a class. And can we do it with

I want to put the name of the base hard in my code because the server and database names are not necessarily all the same so I would like a way to record via textbox or other information databases manually into a file when the program installation or subsequent modification of the backup.

So if you have code examples or program.

    again thank you in advance

    Hi,

You have posted this question under the Telerik Platform forum section. Telerik Platform is an end-to-end solution for mobile development and as far as I understand you are not having issues with mobile development.

If your application is using a Telerik product or component, please post it under the forum of that product. This way it will reach the community utilizing that product or component as well as the tech support engineers that can best address your queries.

If, however, you have a more general programming question, it might be better to post in a development forum for VB.Net as then it will reach a broader range of developers working with that environment.

    Hi Menfoutix ,

I am still not sure how to assist you. We don't have a VB.NET forum. Our DevTools include:
Are you using a component from one of those product lines? If you are, we will need to know which one and we will also need a sample project or code snippets demonstrating the issue you are having. Please have a look at this blog post for more information on how to best take advantage of our support services.
