I think this has to be answered somewhere, but I've searched for about 15 minutes and can't find it so apologies for asking these elementary questions about the pricing model.

Is it conceivable that a developer could pay $19 for one month of Icenium, develop a (simple) app and deploy to the Apple App Store and Google Play, never change it again (no bug fixes or updates) and have no further expenses?

Could you turn Icenium on for another month at some point in the future to build and deploy an update to the app (another $19)

Or...Do you need to pay the subscription fee every month you want your app to work (with a phone home to Telerik), or every month you want your app in the app store?

Again I realize this latter scenario is probably ridiculous, but since the pricing page offers very little in the way of explicit details on how the subscription pricing model works, and there are no FAQs or other detailed info addressing this, the skeptic in my imagination fills in the lack of information with worst-case scenarios.

Hello Pat,

Thank you for your interest in Icenium.

The short answer to your questions is: no, you do not need to keep an active subscription of Icenium in order to keep your application life in the Apple App Store and/or Google Play Store. Once you build it, your application is yours to publish, sell, give away, and do whatever you like with it.

Although conceivable, it is very unlikely, that a developer pays $19 for one month of Icenium, develops an app, deploys it to the Apple App Store and/or Google Play and then cancel their subscription. Even if there are no updates, bug fixes, new features, etc. to the app, which is rarely the case, the developer will probably start working on a new app.

Best wishes,
Chris
