Hi folks !

Hope you all are doing great !!

Hey Telerik Guys ,

I need you guys to help me sort out my problem. I have a project to deliever by the end of this month & Iam really frustated with whats your RAD GRID is behaving.

Guys , my actual problem is described below :-

I have a RAD GRID with GRAY SKIN which is bind to the Object Data Source. I have enabled the following properties of the grid :-

1. MOVABLE(DRAGABLE) COLUMNS
2. RESIZING OF COLUMNS & ROWS

I have fixed the HEIGHT of the GRID to 98% & assigned with to the BOUND column manually.

Now , when I resize the COLUMN HEADERS of the RAD GRID , the whole alignment of the PAGE (PAGE STRUCTURE ) gets disturbed.

(i.e. If we have the DIV SECTION on to the page all the DIV SECTION gets dis-aligned from their position only if we try to RESIZE THE HEADER COLUMN of the GRID.)

Please help me out to solve the problem.

Looking forword to hear at earliest possible.
Thanks

Ajay

Hello Ajay,

The Gray skin of RadGrid for ASP.NET AJAX has been discontinued since the Q1 2009 release of the product. Instead you can use the Default skin of the control which resembles to a great extent the previous Gray skin. I checked your account and it indicates that you are using a trial version of the controls, hence upgrading to the latest Q1 2009 SP2 release should not be a problem. Upgrade instructions can be found here.

Additionally, you can test the online demo of the grid pointed below with difference skins and compare it with your grid configuration:

http://demos.telerik.com/aspnet-ajax/grid/examples/client/resizing/defaultcs.aspx

This can help us determine the cause of the layout issues you encountered in case they are not exhibited on the demo in question.

Kind regards,
Sebastian
