I have an issue with the background color of appointments when they are in or cross over a cell (date) that is ready only. For some reason it displays the colors differently than it does when the cell isn't read only. Is there any way to get them to have the same color?

I'm using the Category.CategoryBrush for the background and it works great if I don't make any cells read only. The issue is that I want to make any cells that are not in the current month to grey out....

Hello Barry,

The reason for this behavior is that when the appointments are placed in read-only slots, actually they are in read-only state and their read-only style (greyed-out overlay) is applied.  You should customize the AppointmentStyleSelector and in both Horizontal and Vertical appointment templates edit the ReadOnlyVisual element.

I have attached a sample project showing the approach using Implicit Styles. Please download it and give it a try.

Hope this helps.
