Hi,

I would like to know what is the suggested strategy for code sharing between Cordova project and a web site.

The SPA site and Cordova App are basically 95% identical. Except few API calls the Kendo ui SPA app and the cordova app are the same.

Currently , When working with VS I need to open 2 separate projects , first is a "regular" web app and the second it Cordova app (both in TypeScript).

I would like to hear suggestion what is the best way to share all this code between those projects.

Currently i;m just sharing files between projects (adding files as links from one projects)

I guess there might be wiser and more structural ways to achieve such code sharing.

Any ideas ?

Thx

Sagi

Hi Sagi,

Unfortunately, Telerik Platform does not provide a straight forward solution for this scenario. However, in the near future we plan to introduce a sample app or a tutorial showing how code can be shared to a certain extend.

Until then, I believe that the approach you are currently following is the most rewarding one.

Visit the Telerik Verified Plugins Marketplace and get the custom Cordova plugin you need, already tweaked to work seamlessly with AppBuilder.
