Hi Guys,

Just wondering if anybody has had any experience implementing the CloudKit API in a Cordova/AppBuilder app that they could share with us?

We've been experimenting with silent Push Notifications to send payloads/data to our app but iOS seems to randomly and arbitrarily wake our app up so it can process the data (using the content-available flag).

We're looking at swaping over to CloudKit in the hopes that playing within Apples API might let us synchronise public data across all users in the background.

Thanks

Chris

After posting this I realised CloudKit requires XCode6 and AppBuilder is still on XCode5 :)

Hi Chris,

Indeed, we haven't updated XCode to version 6 yet, and we also don't have any observations on using the CloudKit API in Cordova-based applications.

Updating to XCode 6 is already in our immediate backlog but I cannot give you an exact deadline as we are yet to see what compatibility issues may arise during the update.
