Clicking behavior change

Hi

I have noticed that all of a sudden several buttons seem to be causing multiple post backs and the issue appears to be that users are double clicking or if the response is slow doing multiple clicks.

This has only just happend within the last few weeks after upgrading to the SP1 latest release.  Has there been a change to the functionality?

Hi Jon,

If you want to prevent multiple postbacks you can use the single click button, as illustrated in this demo - http://demos.telerik.com/aspnet-ajax/button/examples/overview/defaultcs.aspx

If, however, that is not the case could you please provide us with a runnable sample and the exact steps of reproducing the issue, in order to investigate it further?

Yes I had seen that one and used that to fix however the query was really about whether something had changed with the buttons seeing as we hadn't seen this happen then all of a sudden it is happening to multiple buttons.

Hi Jon,

We are glad to know that you have fixed the issue on your side. We have not changed the click functionality of the RadButton. If the issue is reproducible with Q1 2015 SP1 only, but not reproducible with the previous version, I would suggest you to send us a support ticket with an isolated runnable sample that could be used for reproduction and investigation of the issue.
