We currently have Q1 2007 installed. The steps we followed were:
1. Installed Visual Studio 2005
2. Installed Q1 2007 from the exe
3. Worked with it but did not create anything we need to preserve

Since then we installed Visual Studio 2008, but did not use it to work with the Telerik controls (not sure if the VS 2008 installation did any auto migration of anything relating to the Telerik controls).

Given that we did not create anything with Q1 2007 that we need to preserve, what is the "cleanest" way to install Q2 2008 ASP.NET AJAX for use with Visual Studio 2008?

Should we just uninstall Q1 2007 using the Telerik uninstall that came with it, and then install Q2 2008 from the exe, or is there more to it?

I've done a a few upgrades of the RadControls by uninstalling the current version using the Telerik uninstall and then just installing the new release.

I build modules for the DotNetNuke framework (which our application is built on) and web based tools for the company I work for. We have over 80 portals in production and I have not encountered any issues.

Hope this helps,

Kevin
