Hi,

Does chunk upload functionality work on Safari browsers (Safari for Win and Safari for Mac)?
Cannot make it working on Safari(5+) for win7.
I use FileAPI or IFrame plugins. No Flash and Silverlight.

Best regards,
Denis

Hi Denis,

Unfortunately I couldn't replicate the issue at my end. Please have a look into the following code snippet which works fine at my end. For further information please take a look into this online demo and help documentation.

ASPX:
<telerik:RadAsyncUpload runat="server" ID="AsyncUpload1" ChunkSize="3145728" />

Thanks,
Shinu.

Hi Shinu,

Do you see many chunk requests with 3145728 bytes inside?
I checked fiddler and there is still one large request. The same is for online sample if I use Safari for windows 7.
Also I opened App_Data\RadUploadTemp folder and temporary file has not been created when I initiated an upload of a large file.

Regards,
Denis

Denis,

I'm having exactly the same problem, did you ever find a solution?

Hi Geoff,

I am afraid that as Safari for Windows was discontinued in mid 2012, it is no longer supported by Telerik UI for ASP.NET AJAX - N/A stands for "Not applicable" in the browser support table.

No worries, I only really use it for testing and I have now tested it on a Mac and it works perfectly.

Thanks
