There is a bug in the beta release for Chrome 44 that is disabling keyboard input in browser instances where a NPAPI are launched and used.

After using a Silverlight or other NPAPI plugin, the plug in doesn't relinquish control, disabling text input in browser address bars and other text html input fields

I initially notices it with the google earth plugin, but silverlight is also affected.

started a bug ticket, other may want to raise the issue, if it isn't addressed and the bug rolls out in the chrome 44 update, there will be tears
