I cloned the example from here in Graphite:

    https://github.com/Icenium/sample-childbrowser.git

The app builds but does not do anything when you click the ShowWebPage button.  I tried it in Mist and same result.  I put it on my device from Mist and did not work.  What am I missing here?

    Thanks,

    Justin

    Hello,

Thank you for trying out Icenium.

Plugins should work for Android devices and for provisioned iOS devices. Cordova plugins are currently not supported in Simulator and Ion app.

Could you tell us what device you have deployed your application on?

    All the best,

    Hey Ivan,

It is an iPhone 5 so that would explain it.  I don't have a dev account with Apple so I can't provision the device.  Any plans in the near future to support the plugins in the simulator or ion app, or is it not possible?  Is there another solution that you know of for a child browser that is not a plugin?

    Thanks,

    Justin

    Hi,

    Thanks for the suggestion.

Cordova's team is planning to introduce a new api called InAppBrowser in version 2.3.0 which is based on ChildBrowser. Support for InAppBrowser is already presented in our feature plans.

In addition you can submit it as a feature request on our feedback portal so other community members can vote for it. This will help us prioritize our next tasks.

    Kind regards,
