We have a handful of RTFs that contain checkboxes that are not appearing at all in Telerik RichTextBox control. I believe these checkboxes appear in the RTF as follows:

{\rtlch\fcs1 \af1 \ltrch\fcs0 \i\dbch\af0\insrsid4876603 FORMCHECKBOX}

I suspect these checkboxes are not part of the RTF specification and may have been generated through another utility, such as Microsoft Word, and thus the Telerik control is effectively ignoring/suppressing the checkboxes when rendering the document.

However, I wanted to confirm that this indeed the case and whether or not this may be something the Telerik team has encountered before and may potentially have some advice for a workaround and/or accommodation.

Additionally, it seems that we can no longer attach .rtf documents and only provide images. Is this a recent change to the Telerik forums or is there something I'm missing? I know I've provided text-based attachments in the past.

Thanks in advance!

Hello Aldo,

Actually, such checkboxes are valid according to the RTF specification, but the Form Fields feature is not supported by RadRichTextBox at this point. This is in our backlog already and you can vote for its implementation in our public portal: Implement support for Form Fields.

As to attachments, our public forums do not allow attaching files other than images and this is not a recent change. I checked your support history and it seems you've previously contacted us through support tickets which allowed you to attach files.

Let me know if I can help you with anything else.
