Is there an easy way to implement a "Chart Subset Selection" feature? Rather than trying to explain what I mean, let me show you. Take a look at this Flash control (after you choose a city from the dropdown). While this implementation is slightly unresponsive and somewhat crude, it's actually a very nice UX for the user besides the unresponsiveness.

Ultimately, they goal is to have a very high-level granularity chart to select a starting and ending point to view a much lower-granularity chart.

Is this currently possible or is there any chance of having some feature added so we can ultimately get to such a functionality? I can't tell you how many times (on date range-based charts) something like this would have been MUCH nicer than having two DatePickers specifying a Start Date and Stop Date.

Hi Shane,

I believe our zooming and scrolling feature works much the same way. We don't have the scroller with the preview, but the chart is indeed able to zoom in on a specific region.
