Hi,

KendoUI Mobile does not have a Theme Builder. I would like to change colors, fonts and other visual attribute of my mobile application.

Is there a documentation about Kendo UI Mobile CSS so that we can change some visual attributes ???

Thanks in advance

Hi Marcus,

Unfortunately currently there is no documentation about how to change colors in Kendo Mobile. We plan to change this soon, but until then, I can help you colorizing it, if you tell me what do you want to color. It is rather easy - boils down to changing only the background-color of an element, but due to quite different nature of the native controls on all platforms, the target elements may differ, hence the need for a Theme Builder in the future.

I will come back as soon as I need something specific.

Well I am not a designer, that's why I like themes. The main problem is not only the Mobile widgets but when we mix Mobile and Web I beleive there will be a problem.

Do you know when the Theme builder will be avaiable ????

Thanks

Hi Marcus,

Unfortunately I can't disclose an exact date, but we will be publishing an official roadmap soon.

Prior to a true theme builder - perhaps we could get some basic CSS details? I'd love to change the iOS header color and lighten the background. Would go far towards making my app "pop." Bill

Hi Bill,

You can check the CSS in the several Customizing Appearance demos which show exactly that. For instance the TabStrip one colorizes the whole app.

http://demos.kendoui.com/mobile/buttongroup/appearance.html
http://demos.kendoui.com/mobile/navbar/appearance.html
