I would like to change the toggle image for just one RadComboBox - instead of a down arrow I would like to display a magnifying glass (search).  I am ok with modifying our skin files, etc., but want the scope to affect only one RadComboBox.  Even if I hide the entire down arrow and put the icon right up next to it, that's fine.  I tried setting ShowToggleImage="false", and it went away, but the background is still there. :(

Not being a UI guy, can someone help me out with this?

Thank you in advance,

John

Hello John,

We are glad that RadSearchBox fits you requirements. If you need to customize our controls, we recommend you to use lightweight render mode (if a control has already had implemented such render mode). As controls in lightweight render mode uses font icons, it is not necessary to create a custom image for customizing icons. For example changing a color of an icon can be achieved simply by setting color CSS property to the icon DOM element.
