Is there any property I can enable on the RadCalendar to allow it to switch months by swiping left and right (on top of up and down).  I know the left / right doesn't make sense while in a pivot, but I am not using it in a pivot.

Unfortunately, by design, the RadCalendar does not support such scenario.
