I want to create a style for the expander so that the background color changes when the control is expanded or collapsed.  For instance, when collapsed, I want the color to be grey.  When expanded, I want to changed the color to red.

Hello Maria,

Thank you for your interest in the RadExpander for Silverlight.

You should handle the Expanded and the Collapsed events. Please preview the attached example and let us know if you have other questions.

Best wishes,

The example changes the color through coded events.  I'm assuming the same cannot be achieved by styling/templating the control?

Hello Maria,

With the current release there are no properties about background in collapsed and expanded states. However if you share with us more information about your scenario we will try to find a workaround for you.

Looking forward for your reply.
