    Hello Sabby,

    The RadCaptcha displays grey image when the CaptchaImage cannot be found. This could be a result of:
     - Using the captcha in a website with enabled load balancing. This help article contains more information about the scenario;
     - Clearing the Cache/Session of your project. The CaptchaImage is stored in the Cache by default or in the Session if the control is configured as described in the help article, linked above. If the storage location used by the captcha is cleared, the image will not be displayed.

    Yes, I am using Captcha in a website with load balancing. It works fine in all other browsers but only breaks sometime in IE 8. Is the article the only proposed solution to this ?

    Hello Sabby,

    It is strange that you are encountering the problem only under IE8. Nevertheless, the steps, described in the linked help article, are required in a WebFarm/WebGarden scenario in order to ensure that the captcha image will always be available.

    All the best,
