We subscribe to a service that allow us to drag and drop controls just such as buttons, text box, radio buttons, drop down list etc. onto a form without programming. I like to create an application that will allow our users to create their own forms without doing a single line of coding. Will Telerik controls allow us to do that?

And interesting question.

I can think of a couple of ways wherein you might be able to do that kind of thing. Not natively with RadControls out-of-the-box, perhaps, but you could do something that would, ultimately leave you with a form with RadControls on it.

Thanks for the reply.
I would like  to see a demo or an example that either telerik or someone else have. I'm not sure exactly what kind of technologies or controls the website that we subscribed to use but we're able to create our own scholarship form application for any students to fill out online by drag and drop controls without a single programming code. If telerik can show us this capability, we may seriously consider buying the Ultimate version.

Hello Chong,

How about using our Sitefinity CMS for this purpose? It allows you to model the look and feel of your web pages from the administration console and after you build your pages, you can build and run them instantly in your browser.

Yes, I've thought about that but we're doing more than just those forms. We are also doing our own programming in Visual Studio 2010 for other functionality and applications. That's why we're looking at the telerik controls instead.

Hi Chong,

Bear in mind that Sitefinity uses RadControls for ASP.NET AJAX, RadControls for Silverlight and OpenAccess ORM internally, therefore the pages you design with it will incorporate our controls after all.

Additionally, note that you can use our AJAX controls in Visual Studio and outside of Sitefinity as a trial version, or download the AJAX bundle separately and utilize it for your VS development. Apart from that, you may go your own route and implement your custom solution that builds end user forms dynamically.

Best regards,
Sebastian
