Hi Kees,

Thank you for contacting us.

Regarding the preview pane pin/unpin, as I already mentioned in the previous ticket, we were not able to reproduce it on the latest version. Therefore, can you, please, update us with the following information so we can further investigate this issue:
  • The version number of TeamPulse you are using.
  • A screenshot representing the issue.

Regarding the second issue - I am not sure I understand you correctly. Do you mean the board or list view paging, or something else? A screenshot would be helpful as well.

Thank you for your patience. Looking forward to hearing from you soon.

Kind Regards,

I am having a similar issue. In IE 11 if I click on an item in the list the preview pane does not show on the right side. I have to double click it and then it shows the item in the full item view. In Chrome the preview pane shows up when I single click an item.

I am also having an issue with the left side navigation. When I click the arrow at the bottom to pin it these seems to do nothing but flip the arrow and the navigation pane always stays hidden. It will slide out when I hover over it but I cannot seem to get it to stay pinned anymore. This functionality works fine in Chrome.

We are currently using version 2014.1.414.0 This was also an issue in the last version but I am not sure what the exact version number was other than it was released in 2013.

Hello Eric,

The issue you are describing might be caused by a mobile device misdetection - looks like TeamPulse loads its mobile version when you open it in IE11.

Unfortunately, we were not able to reproduce it with the configuration you described. Therefore, we will need some more information to further investigate this issue. Would it be possible to send us your IE's user agent string. To do so, just navigate to this website (in IE) http://www.whatsmyuseragent.com/ and copy your user agent string.

Looking forward to hearing from you soon.

After giving you that user agent string I decided to see what happens if I opened IE's F12 Developer tools and changed the user agent string. I changed it to Internet Explorer 10 and everything appeared as expected. This is the resulting user agent string from that test: Mozilla/5.0 (compatible; MSIE 10.0; Windows NT 6.2; Trident/6.0)

Hi Eric,

Thank you for the update. I still cannot reproduce this issue even with the user agent string you sent. I am testing with this version of IE: http://gyazo.com/e28de009229daf383f2453db8e2e9e83 Is it same as yours?

Will it be possible to send us:
- a screenshot of your IE's F12 Developer Options Emulation tab (http://gyazo.com/5a9f1eef8ef91fda1d1e85eee6373338)?
- a screenshot of a board view in IE when the issue appears?

Looking forward to hearing from you soon.

No my version is 11.0.9600.17105 I also have KB2964358 installed.

So far I have disabled all add-ons for IE 11 and reset my settings to the default values with no success. It is obviously something specific to my machine but I haven't come across any clues as to why.

I have attached an image of both Chrome and IE 11 side by side with the same view showing to clarify the difference that I am seeing. In IE I attempted to pin the left navigation bar but as you can see it isn't pinning to the side like Chrome is. Also the preview pane does not show at all.

Hello Eric,

Thank you for the update. We managed to reproduce and fix the issue.

I have attached two versions of the JavaScript file containing the fix, as I am not sure if you are using v.2013.3.1126.0 or 2014.1.414.0. Do not forget to back up your original app.js file before replacing it with the new one, in case any issues occur. The file can be found in the following location: <your TeamPulse installation folder>/Scripts/.

If you do not feel comfortable with this solution, you can add the domain of your TeamPulse site to IE's Compatibility View list: http://gyazo.com/bdcd14487a2072e6cf7d252b27843e28

Do not hesitate to contact us again if you need any further assistance.

Sorry it took me so long to get back but I put the app.js file in place and it has fixed the issue with IE 11 for me. Thanks!
