Cannot get Drag and Drop to Work

I have followed the example for dragging and dropping files to an upload panel found here:  http://demos.telerik.com/silverlight/#Upload/FirstLook

But whenever I drag files onto the panel in my application none of the events fire and the file just opens with internet explorer, closing my Silverlight app. 

Do you have a sample solution I could run and test in Visual Studio so I can narrow down what the problem is?

This issue appears to be the fact that drag and drop is disabled if your Silverlight app is set to windowless mode.

Hello Andrew,

 Yes this is known limitation in Silverlight Framework (No support for handling UIElement defined drag-and-drop events for purposes of Silverlight as a file drop target). You can take a look at this forum thread too describing similar scenario .
