I have a problem where my Just decompile can never connect to the servers.

please advise?

 

Error below:

Cannot connect to JustDecompile server.
Please, check your internet connection.
The request channel timed out while waiting for a reply after 00:00:13.8077585. Increase the timeout value passed to the call to Request or increase the SendTimeout value on the Binding. The time allotted to this operation may have been a portion of a longer timeout.

just to add to my original problem

same problem occurs for the update server 

error below:
Cannot connect to JustDecompile update server.
Please, check your internet connection or disable automatic updates to avoid 
further connection attempts.

Hi,

What is network setup? Are you using a proxy or VPN for your Internet connection?

We are using proxy. How can we set proxy details for JustDecompile?

Hi all,
I tried all the options I found on the forum. Unfortunately, nothing works from them and the program still behaves the same - the program still cannot connect and install plugins. The error message is in Czech windows:
"Cannot connect to JustDecompile server.
Please, check your internet connection.
Nelze vytvořit zabezpečený kanál pro režim SSL/TLS s autoritou justdecompile.telerik.com."
(Translation: Unable to create secure channel for SSL / TLS mode with justdecompile.telerik.com.)
It seems to me that there is a problem with the web certificate, but I am not able to recognize it.

I also always get this message whenever JustDecompile launches or if I click "Check For Updates"...

"Cannot connect to JustDecompile update server. Please check your internet connection or disable automatic updates to avoid further connection attempts."

My network settings are pretty vanilla without any proxies or VPNs typically.

The problem is the certificate in use is for skinsassemblybuilder.telerik.com instead of justdecompile.telerik.com

Dear Telerik or PLS find a right solution or delete file from your website......or in alternative offer a paid soft.............. it seems absurd to me that you have a file on your webpages that does not work

Whenever i run this program it continues to fail to connect to server, I even reinstalled it hoping it would be fixed but still fails to connect.

Any advice on how to correct this?

None of this stuff fixes the underlying issue. The issue is an exception in the code. I just posted a new ticket for this today, with the relevant code blocks where the exceptions are being thrown in JustDecompile.exe. Now, Progress just needs to open the project, set some breakpoints, and figure it out. This has been a recurring issue for several years now and it's really starting to get annoying. My most recent post will be searchable after "Pending Review" .... Here is the title.
