Most of people are accustomed to seeing the lists to be on left side to be selected and the bigger pane would show up on the right side. The TileView seems to be doing this the opposite way. Can we switch this behavior around? Is there a way to designate the position (Left or right)?

Secondly, I was looking at one of the samples in the Blend, and at design time I could not see anything. Is there any plan to make the design time more visual?
Thanks!
..Ben

Hello Ben Hayat,

 You can change the default position of the minimized items with the MinimizedItemsPosition property and we are planning to fix the TileView design time for the Q1 2011.
 If you have further questions feel free to ask.

Hi Zarko;

As of Q1 (or before that), would it be possible to supply a sample where the minimized items are positioned at the left?
Thanks!

Zarko, this is strange. Before I asked you if we can get a sample, I tried the exact thing (except with three TileViewItem) and got runtime error. Although I had created and ran in in Blend, but I just opened yours in VS10 and works great. So, now I know it works. Thanks!

I was trying to have someone else (a sort of designer) to do some stuff on TileView and OutlookBar in Blend, and he was having hard time to freely work with panes and their properties. I really hope the Blend design time gets better soon, because many designers don't know XAML.

Once again, thank you!
