This has also happened to me. Can we get this fixed? I ran the update via the upgrade wizard. I can not place controls on the forms. When I drag the control over it doesn't show up. It goes to the bottom object list.

Hello,

Please can yuo check to ensure that your project does not contain any references to older assemblies, that there are no older references left in your GAC and that the toolbox that are taking the controls from are the current version.

Hope that helps, but let me know if you have further issues
Regards
Richard

The project did not have old references, but it seems as though the toolbox was outdated. In turn this would not allow me to add a control.

Hello,

You can correct this by right clicking on the toolbox and choosing reset. You should then have all the new controls in the toolbox.
Let me know if you have further problems

Hello francis,

Thank you for writing.

Please let us know whether Richard's suggestion worked for you.

Additionally, in order to allow us to investigate your case, I would like to kindly ask you to describe how I can reproduce the experienced behavior. The description should include:
- Which versions of our controls you had installed prior the latest version installation?
- Which version/s of Visual Studio you have installed (w/ or w/o  Service packs)?
- Which operating system do you use?
- Exact steps to reproduce.

I am looking forward to your reply.

Best wishes,
Stefan

It seems as though it was the toolbox. The toolbox was not updated. I reset the toolbox and all is fine.
