Hi,

I'm creating a manual aii test and I'm not able to record selecting an item from a SL combobox within a Childwindow.
I can tell you that the itemssource property of the combobox is loaded. Items are there and show up in the UI.

The same test works if the combobox is not placed in a ChildWindow.

Any ideas how to solve this?

Thanks,
Nuno Senica

Hi Nuno,

I remember we addressed a problem like the one you describe with the latest release. Can you please try the latest official Q3 2010 build we published last week? Please let us know whether it helps recording in your ChildWindow scenario.

Hi Megh,

I got your voice mail,  since you are on the west coast, I thought I would answer you here rather than wake you up!

Recording in WebUI Test Studio must be done using IE7 or  above.

Playback can be executed in the following browsers:
  • Microsoft IE 6 and above
  • Mozilla Firefox 2 and above
  • Apple Safari 3 and above
  • Google Chrome 6 and above

You can download the latest internal build of WebUI Test Studio QA Edition here.

Hope this helps, please let us know if we can be of further assistance.

All the best,
