Can Icenium capture incoming phone number?

Can Icenium capture the phone numbers of an incoming call? I need to log all of the incoming phone calls. I don't know if there is a plugin that works for doing this also. I need it for a project for a client.

Hello Warren,

There is no Cordova API to achieve what you want to do out of the box, but it seems to be possible with custom Cordova plugin at least for Android. There is such a discussion in the following SOF thread and a CallLog plugin entry here. The code given in both threads is useless as plugin in this state as it targets PhoneGap API (i.e. ~ 2 years old) and should be upgraded to support at least Cordova 2.7 and be plugman compatible. The iOS platform does not allow you to access this information from an app.

Still you should consider the privacy issues that arise. Contact information is considered sensitive because it reveals the people with whom a person communicates.

Thanks Steve. I have someone that wanted to log all calls from bill collectors to see if they were calling beyond the allowed limit, So I was looking to capture the incoming call phone number. Would it be the same issue with trying to access the call log? I assume I can't do anything for them.
