Hi,
We are releasing a full featured editor for MOSS. It does not have the limitations of the Lite MOSS editor and you can use it in your project. The full featured editor is not free, but you will only need a license for the regular ASP.NET editor in order to get it.

Are you able to say anything about the release date for this control? And if it takes a while before it's released, would we run into any problems building a custom field control around it ourselves? I guess that is what you are doing, so you should know. :-)

But how do you obtain it? Your site doesn't really explain this.

If you don't have a license for RadControls or RadEditor the Trial version is avialable at: My Licenses -> Trials -> Individual Products -> RadEditor -> Downloads -> ‘Full-Featured RadEditor for MOSS”
