expected: arrow should point in the opposite direction
the demo works fine in FF3.5, IE7&IE8 and Chrome 2.0

Hi and thanks for the sample!
I tested it and it works fine in FF3 and Chrome 2.0.
IE6 and IE8 behaves oddly tho; see image below (IE8) for bug. Also, the small arrows "jump" strangely in both IE8 and IE6 when clicking on the root nodes.
Clicking too fast on the root nodes also makes IE8 & IE6 behave strangely (compared to Chrome 2.0 and FF3 for instance the root nodes don't react/respond as fast and as they should when clicking fast several times on them).
