Can you please provide describe the problem, and write out the required steps to reproduce this? The video shows only creating a new paragraph and removing it.

The problem is that the white space is lost when new paragraph is added?

Please look at the video I've posted. The problem is the fact that when I perform the steps above, a big chunk of the text gets duplicated.
In the video initially I have 12 lines of text... without me pasting anything... I get to many more lines of text.

Radu
I have managed to reproduce the issue and logged it in our internal bug tracker, so it will be fixed with an upcoming release.
Thanks for reporting it.

I understand that the bug is critical for your organization, however we are currently short on resources and this is the reason why I cannot give you an exact time frame when the issue will be resolved.
Thanks for your understanding.

We will try to fix the issue for the Q3 SP1, as I have flagged the issue in our internal bug tracker. The SP1 is scheduled for the 2nd part of January, so please check regularly for new updates.
Thanks for the cooperation.

Hello Radu,
I am afraid that the issue has not been fixed with the Service Pack that we released a few days ago. I have spoken with the people responsible for the widget, and they promised to take a deep look into the problem and see what can be done. As soon as more information is available I will make sure to get back to you.

I am happy to inform you that the issue has been resolved and the fix will be available with the next internal build.
Thank you for your patience.

Hello Radu,
The latest internal build is 2014.3.1328 and is available for download from your account. It should contain the fix that you are looking for.

Hello Radu,
You are aright the latest version of Kendo UI works with Angular 1.3+ only. If you want to use IE8 you need to use 2014.3.1119 version.
Please note that this question differs from the original topic of the conversation, so please open a separate support request and we'll be happy to help.

The original topic of the conversation refers to a bug in IE8. As long as the fix to the reported bug is not available for IE8 (since version 2014.3.1119 does not contain the fix, right?), I believe the current issue remains unsolved. What do you think?
Thanks!
Hello Radu,
I am afraid that we no longer support AngularJS versions that are not supported by the AngularJS team as well. Therefore we cannot backport this fix to older version. Thanks for the understanding.

We chose KendoUI because it states on your website that is IE8 compatible. Now, one year after using it in our project, you're telling me we have to replace KendoUI because you have decided to go with Angular 1.3? How about IE8 compatibility?
Regards
Hello Radu,
The problem is that AngularJS dropped the IE8 support, Kendo UI still supports IE8 when AngularJS is not in play. So here is the current situation:
- IE8 is supported with latest version of Kendo UI without AngularJS directives
- IE8 is not supported with the latest version of Kendo UI and AngularJS 1.3, as the support for IE8 is dropped by the Angular team. Same is written in their official documentation:
https://docs.angularjs.org/guide/ie

I am aware of the current situation that you've described. However, we're somehow caught in the middle: we have a project developed with Angular and KendoUI that has to be compatibile with IE8. So my choices are:
a) rewrite our whole application (that took about a year of developing and testing) to replace AngularJS with something else
b) keep using the old KendoUI (with AngularJS 1.2) that contains critical bugs
c) replace KendoUI with something else
d) modify ourselves the latest KendoUI AngularJS directives to make them compatibile with Angular 1.2 (however, we'd have to do this with every new KendoUI release).
I would've expected for you to announce ahead of time any breaking changes in KendoUI and also to keep provide support for clients that are in situations such as these.
At this point I really regret chosing KendoUI. Also, I'd like to spread the word about the way this situations was handled to help others avoid such headaches.

Hello Radu,
I understand your situation however we cannot backport fixes or support two versions of AngularJS for separate browsers. Furthermore we are not the team that develops or is behind AngularJS, so we cannot control which browsers are supported. I hope you understand the fact that supporting IE8 with both AngularJS 1.2 and 1.3 will require separate distributions of Kendo UI which is currently not part of our roadmap.
Thanks for the understanding.

I understand perfectly: we purchased a buggy product that after being fixed, became incompatible with our needs.
Please tell me where exactly on your website is this compatibility issue presented, cause here (http://docs.telerik.com/kendo-ui/browsers-support) it's definitively not.
We've decided to remove all KendoUI code from our project, thus ensuring these kind of issues won't happen anymore.

Hello Radu,
I am really sorry to hear that you are not happy with the Kendo UI product, but I am afraid that we cannot support different versions of AngularJS, for different browsers and backport fixes. I am sure that you understand our point and why we had to go with this decision.
In case you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.
